22 April, Kathmandu: UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the time had come to stand up for institutionalizing the demands of the various movements including the people’s war and people’s movement.

In a statement issued here today on the occasion of establishment day of communist party in Nepal and the 144th birth anniversary of communist leader VI Lenin, Chairman Dahal has described it as a duty of the day to enforce the agenda of the communist movement.

Referring to the founding of the Nepal Communist Party 65 years ago on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lenin, Mr Dahal has said that the Nepali communist movement has move ahead with many upheavals and is now the focus of national politics through the armed conflict and the people’s movement.

“The preamble of revolution and organizational principle of a communist party as proposed by Lenin is still relevant today and serves as guidelines for us”, says Dahal in the statement.

He has also wished that the day inspire all to move ahead towards the path to a socialist revolution after completing the remaining task of the people’s revolution, while also calling for unity among all revolutionary communist forces in the country. RSS
