Kathmandu, April 22: The central committee meeting of ruling CPN (UML) scheduled for April 23 has become uncertain due to the top leaders’ divergent views on the proposal to be tabled in the party’s upcoming ninth national convention.

UML general secretary Ishwor said that the meeting was postponed as the leaders were divided on the document of the upcoming party’s national convention at a standing committee meeting held at the party central office on Monday and the drafting of the proposal was also not completed.

According to Pokhrel the central committee meeting has been postponed until next decision.

The UML is convening its national convention from June 7 to 14 in Kathmandu.

The next standing committee meeting of the UML shall hold on April 23. RSS
