1 Sept, Nepalgunj: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chair Kamal Thapa has said a tussle between the nationalist forces and surrenderer has not yet ended in the Nepali politics.

Speaking at a press meet organised by the RPP Banke district working committee Friday, leader Thapa said, “The elections to the provincial assembly and House of Representatives scheduled to be held in two phases are the top priorities of the party.”

In a response to journalists’ query, he said though a split within the party was a sad moment, the RPP had taken it as an ‘opportunity’. No party would sustain if an internal dispute was made an issue for the separation, he added.

He went on to claim that his party had not quit its agenda for the restoration of Hindu State and support for monarchy and the party organisational expansion would be taken ahead on the same basis.
