17 Feb, Kathmandu: The major opposition party, CPN-UML, has demanded with the government to withdraw the constitution amendment bill registered at the parliament on November 29, 2016.

The meeting of the UML convened in Kathmandu in the chairmanship of its party chief KP Sharma Oli on Sunday drew the attention of government towards holding all three constitutionally mandated elections and implementing the constitution.

The UML has demanded revocation of the constitution bill stating that it was against the national interest and did not comply with the new constitution both in letter and in spirit.
