29 March, Kathmandu: The main opposition CPN (UML) has drawn attention of the Election Commission (EC) to the violation of election code of conducts.

A team of deputy leader of party parliamentary Subash Nembang and others met with Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayodi Prasad Yadav and other commissioners on Tuesday regarding the violation of election code of conducts.

During the meeting, the UML leaders claimed that a Deputy Prime Minister violated the election code of conducts by using Nepal Army helicopter to handover a bank cheque from the state’s side and attend the programme organized by the Nepali Congress.

Nembang said that the UML also drew EC’s attention to the shifting of a huge amount of budget.
