UML wins mayor, deputy mayor posts in Trakeshwor Municipality

21 May, Kathmandu: The CPN (UML) has secured a win in the post of mayor in Tarakeshwor Municipality in Kathmandu district.

UML’s Rameshwor Bohora won the post with 9,326 votes while his nearest contender NC’s Sri Ram Thapa secured 7,757 votes.

For deputy mayor, UML’s Bhanu Dotel garnered 9,746 votes to claim the post. His closest competitor NC’s Gita Neupane got 6,602 votes. RSS
