29 June, Butwal: Vote count of local level elections held on Wednesday has begun in Rupandehi since this morning.

The vote count began this morning on all-party consensus though the collection of polling boxes at vote count station was slightly delayed on Wednesday.
Rupandehi Chief District Officer Humnath Gautam shared that the vote count in some local levels including Siddharthanagar municipality and Devdaha municipality has started.

Vote count has begun in majority of local levels including Butwal Sub-Metropolis in the district since this morning, he informed.

Banke: Vote count is taking place at Duduwa rural municipality-1 of Banke district. According to latest updates, Federal Socialist Forum has secured 43 votes while Nepali Congress 33, CPN-MC 3, CPN-UML 1 and RPP 2.

Banke Chief District Officer Rabilal Pantha shared that the vote count would begin at Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolis, Kohalpur municipality, Rapti Sonari, Janaki, Baijanath, Khajura and Narainapur rural municipalities.

Rolpa: Vote count has begun in three out of 10 local levels in Rolpa district. Vote count has started at Subarnabati rural municipality, Sukidaha rural municipality and Madi rural municipality since 1.00am last night.

Nepali Congress is taking lead in two local levels – Sukidaha and Subarnabati rural municipalities – of Rlpla while CPN-MC is ahead in Madi rural municipality.

Banke: Vote count has started at Duruwa rural municipality since 2.00am last night while preparation is on to count ballots in other seven local levels of Banke district after all-party meeting.

The vote count of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolis will take place at Bheri Technical Institute in Nepalgunj. Likewise, vote count of Kohalpur municipality is to take place at the training centre of Agriculture Development Bank at Pipiri.

Similarly, vote count of Khajura rural municipality and Janakari rural municipality is taking place at Khajura.
Vote count of Rapti Sonari rural municipality is to take place at Kachanapur.

Security in the district has been beefed up in view of vote counts in different palces, shared police sources. RSS
