Mangalbarey (Ilam), Nov. 22: The counting of votes has been stopped in Constituency No. 2 of Ilam district. The counting was halted after a dispute over the discovery of more ballot papers than had been verified.
Three political parties have boycotted the counting of votes following the dispute. The counting has not started as yet due to the boycott. CPN (UML) candidate Subash Chandra Nembang was leading in the vote count by 800 votes when the counting was halted. RSS
