Each member of the victorious Nepali national cricket team will be awarded with Rs 25,000 for finishing second in the recently held ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier Asia Region in Hong Kong.
Minister for Youth and Sports Daljit Shreepali made the announcement of the cash prize for the athletes while congratulating them for their feat during a programme here on Wednesday.
Minister Shreepali also pledged to reward more accolades for the cricketers if they perform their best in the ICC Asia Cup Cricket.
Although the Nepali squad could not qualify for the World Cup, Nepal has been selected for the Asia Cup Cricket. Of the total six matches played by Nepal in the qualifiers, Nepal won three matches.
