A Nepali National Team has been announced for the Women Asia Cup T20 Cricket Tournament taking place in Thailand from November 26 to December 4.
A selection committee comprising Nepali team coach, captain and representatives of International Cricket Council announced the 15-member team on Friday. After the suspension of the Cricket Association of Nepal, the ICC has been playing its role in selecting cricket squad.
According to the decision, regular Captain Rubina Chhetri is leading the team. Other members in the squad are Indu Sharma, Jyoti Pandey, Kajal Shrestha, Karuna Bhandari, Neri Thapa, Neera Rajopadhyay, Rashmi Sharma Chaulagain, Roshani Bohora, Sabnam Rai, Sita Magar, Saraswoti Kumari Chaudhary and Sita Rana Magar.
Nepal is taking its first game with Pakistan on November 26. Likewise, Team Nepal will contest Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, host Thailand and India, respectively. RSS
