Kathmandu, Nov 26: The Bangladeshi PM Shiekh Hasina highlighted on the efforts made by her government to educate all including women and girls. She added that social, economic and political empowerment of women and girls have been highly prioritized.
In her keynote address to the ongoing SAARC summit, she also thanked Nepal government and the Nepali people for warm hospitality she received upon her arrival in Kathmandu.
Highlighting on the need to make significant strides in education in the whole region, the only woman head of government currently in the south asian region, Hasina, called for establishment of a knowledge-based society in South Asia.
