Syangja, Feb. 9 (RSS): Minister for Land Reforms, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Kumari Aryal has said that the government would take responsibility for the marketing of the agricultural productions.
At a programme organised at Tulasi Bhanjyang of Syangja on Saturday, Minister Aryal said that all people should be linked to productions in order to reduce unemployment and poverty in the country.
She argued that campaigns should be started from the villages for proper utilisation of means and resources in order to be self-reliant and urged the small farmers’ cooperatives to invest in mega industries and hydropower projects.
Stating that the government was preparing to unveil land utilisation policy, she expressed her concerns to the rising barren land in the villages for lack of a clear policy on land use.
