24 Oct, Itahari: Nepali Congress leader Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar, who is also the deputy prime minister, has urged all democratic forces to unite for safeguarding democracy.
Speaking in a festival greetings exchange programme organized by Sunsari district party committee in Inaruwa on Monday, leader Gachchhadar urged party cadres to work hard for the victory of the democratic alliance in the upcoming federal and provincial parliamentary elections.
Also speaking at the programme, Finance Minister and NC central member Gyanedra Bahadur Karki and Commerce Minister Min Bishwakarma said that the NC was bearing the responsibility to lead the nation to the pathway to prosperity.
Party central member Gururaj Ghimire, former minister Sitaram Mehata and district party president Rajiv Koirala also urged all party cadres to make the democratic alliance victorious.
