Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Nepal’s Chair Kamal Thapa left here Friday for Japan to take part in a programme to be organised by Japan-based Youth Day International Association.

Leader Thapa departed for Japan at around 11:00 pm yesterday, according to party Spokesperson Rajaram Shrestha. The programme is being held on the occasion of the diamond jubilee of the establishment of Nepal-Japan diplomatic relations. The former Minister will address the programme, focusing on the matters relating to Nepal-Japan relations.

Likewise, during his stay there, he will attend the sixth general convention of party-aligned Overseas Nepal Organisation scheduled for September 26 as a chief guest. He will be returning home on September 30.
