Minister for Irrigation, Narayan Prakash Saud has claimed that there was infiltration of ‘ill-intentioned forces’ in the notorious Tikapur clash occurred on August 24.
Speaking at a press meet organized by the Reporters Club, Bhaktapur Chapter, Minister Saud further stated that the incident was not merely an accident but a well-planned event to derail the constitution writing process as it was reaching the final phase.
On the occasion, the Minister said that the government was effortful to take stock of the riot where 10 persons were confirmed dead, including seven police personnel and a minor.
He further went on claiming that the incident took place out of conspiracy hatched by some external ‘forces’ besides the agitating Tharu-centric political parties and organizations.
Minister Saud also reaffirmed that the constitution promulgation process would not deter despite the unpleasant incident like this. RSS
