Bhaktapur, Feb 15 : Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has blamed the government of failing to carry out fruitful activities in order to give the people real sense of the change and relief, during its one year term.
At a protest rally organised by NC Bhaktapur at Shankhadhar chowk of Madhyapur Thimi, on Friday, NC President Deuba said the government only imposed different types of tax on the people during the year.
Blaming the government of not carrying out activities in favour of the people, he argued that the government has been carrying out non-democratic activities in the name of two-third majority. “The government has not been able to arrest the guilty of different incidents including rape, murder and violence, which have been increasing in the country,” he said.
Similarly, NC leader Prakashman Singh blamed the communist-led government of failing to implement the federalism to save it.
Other leaders—Krishna Prasad Sitaula, NC, Bhaktapur, president Durlav Thapa, among others stressed that the government should carry out activities by winning people’s heart. (Photo available)
