Nine political parties pledge to become one for elections for Bardibas Municipality

21 April, Bardiya: Various nine political parties have pledged to form a joint panel to contest the May 14 local level election for Bardibas Municipality in the district.

The nine parties that have made written pledge in this regard include Rastriya Madhes Samajwadi Party, Naya Shakti Party Nepal, CPN-Revolutionary Maoist, CPN United, Rastriya Janamukti Party, Nepal Loktantrik Forum, Nepal Sadbhawana Party, Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party and Tarai Madhes Sadbhawana Party.

“All the parties will unite for the poll if it takes place,” said a joint statement issued by the nine parties today.

Hailing the commitment, town committee in-charge of Naya Shakti Party, Bardibas Lilahari Khatiwada said the efforts of the nine parties in this regard would be an important and positive step in the development of the town. RSS
