The agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has responded to the government’s letter, stressing on result-oriented and meaningful talks.
Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had written to the political parties of the UDMF urging them for talks by stopping the ongoing agitation.
However, the UDMF has refused to stop the demonstration terming it impossible.
A meeting of the UDMF has also expressed the hope that the upcoming talks with the government would be result-oriented and meaningful.
