Four leaders are fighting for the district president of the Nepali Congress in Kathmandu.

Already the district president, Bhimsen Das Pradhan has decided to fight for the post again throwing challenge to the new faces.

The new election for the district president is being held during the district convention of the party on Monday. It is as part of the forthcoming 13th general convention of the party.
Others who have decided to fight for the district president are Sabuj Baniya, Narottam Baidya and Raju Raj Joshi.

General convention representative from constituency no 8, Joshi said at a press meet that he would be vocal for ending the politics of factionalism.

The constituency level convention of the party held on Friday and Saturday has elected 120 representatives from Kathmandu for the 13th general convention.
