Kathmandu, April 22: The government has directed the contractor companies to conclude to ongoing maintenance works of Nagdhunga-Naubise road section before rainy season.
The government’s direction comes at a time when the ongoing construction works of Nagdhunga-Naubise road section is criticized for the slow progress.
After an inspection visit on Monday, Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office Krishna Hari Baskota and other top government officials directed the contractor companies to finish the ongoing maintenance driver before the monsoon starts.
The delayed construction works has caused heavy traffic jam for long hours and landslides after the rain have become common in the recent days.
The construction companies have been charged of mobilizing minimum number of human resources and technical equipments, causing delayed in the road construction along the Nagdhunga-Naubise road section– the busiest road to entered into capital city from other districts. RSS
