20 Nov, Mahendranagar, Dhanusha: Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi has said that home work has been started in his party for making Janakpur the capital of Province-2. Janakpur was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Mithila.
Addressing an election campaign assembly at Janakpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nidhi said the Nepali Congress has already started lobbying at the centre for making Janakpur the province capital. Nidhi is contesting in the House of Representatives election from Dhanusha district constituency-3.
He asserted that he was vigorously working to make Janakpur the state capital and it was one of his election agenda.
