18 September, NEPALGUNJ: An officer of Nepalgunj-based Nepalgunj Medical College has been arrested with 50 grams of brown sugar.
Police nabbed Arbind Kumar Sharma, an administrative officer of the medical college, with illegal narcotic on Wednesday, on charge of smuggling contraband.
The town located nearby Indian border is reported to be‘transit point for smuggling drugs and human trafficking. According to police, this is the first time the narcotics has been confiscated from a professional of the local health institution.
