We have already entered the second-half of 2015 and this year has given us some pretty good movies like, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, ‘Furious 7’, ‘Inside out’, ‘Antman’, ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’, etc. and ‘Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens’ is yet to come. But still, 2016 seems to be a pretty good year for movies that many film lovers are super hyped to see. Lets look at some of those movies:
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
Ah! yes, the movie that all the superhero fans have been waiting for. Its the movie that puts together two of the most iconic superheros and makes them fight each other. Two trailers for this movie has already been released online and they look really amazing. With the people of earth (mostly America) fearing the power of the god-like superhero Superman, Gotham’s vigilante Batman takes on Metropolis’ savior while the world argues on what sort of hero they really need. The movie stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.
Deadpool
Get ready for some fourth wall breaking. Deadpool hits the big screen and this time he’s mouth is not sealed (unlike they showed him in ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’). We all have loved Deadpool from the comics, animations and video games and now when he stars in his very own movie, we couldn’t be more excited. The role of the ‘merc with the mouth’ will be played by Ryan Reynolds.
Suicide Squad
Almost all the time, we see heroes vs villains where heroes take on the main role in the movie. But not with ‘Suicide Squad’. This movie stars villains who take on the main role. With villains such as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Killercroc and even The Joker, this movie does seem to put a new taste in the superhero films.
Captain America: Civil War
With Batman and Superman fighting each other in ‘Dawn of Justice’, Marvel are not gonna keep quiet about it. They are gonna make their own versus movie and what better versus movie than two of the avengers Captain America and Iron Man fighting each other. And yes, there are gonna be some more Marvel superheroes who will take on the sides of either Captain America or Iron Man. There seems to be an incident that leads to a schism over how to deal with situations which leads to an open fight between Cap and Tony.
Warcraft
There are many die hard fans of Warcraft (the game) in the world and it is about time they make the movie. With the characters from the game coming to the big screen, it is sure to give us some excitement to watch it.
Assassin’s Creed
Another video game to hit the big screen. Assassin’s Creed is a really nice game with (as the title goes) lots of assassination. If the movie is gonna be really as good as the game then we are really waiting for this movie to be released.
Kung Fu Panda 3
The awesome adventure of a panda with his super animal friends. Let us hope that this movie will give some epic, awesome, kickass kung fu action like it has done before. This animated movie is really going to be fun to watch with everyone. We are very eager to see Po, Tigress, Monkey, Master Shifu, Viper, Crane and Mantis again.
X-Men: Apocalypse
Apocalypse, the first mutant, is about to be resurrected in ‘X-men: Apocalypse’. Apocalypse, as the name goes, is hellbent of bringing end to mankind for the greater good in his own way. Apocalypse is also considered as the most powerful mutant. How are the X-Men going to stop this massive threat. We definitely want to see this movie.
Doctor Strange
Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange, a powerful Marvel character. Strange is a brilliant but egotistical neurosurgeon. After his career destroyed, he gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under his wing and trains him to defend the world against evil. Lets see how this iconic character will be portrayed in the movie.
