20 May, Rajbiraj: A Myadi or temporary police personnel died when his motorcycle met with an accident at Mohuli Bridge in Kanchanrup Municipality-11 in Saptari district today.
Police identified the deceased as Min Narayan Chaudhary, 26, of Krishna Sawaran rural municipality in the district. He was recruited by the Area Police Office, Mohuli for the security of the May 14 local level election.
The incident took place when the motorcycle (Na 33 Pa 4122) he was riding on went out of control and crashed onto a bridge, according to the Area Police Office Mahuli.
Similarly, the pillion rider, Raghunanda Chaudhary, who is also a police personnel working at the police post at Pakari, was critically injured in the accident. Chaudhary is receiving treatment at the Dharmeshwor Hospital at Theliya in the district, police said. RSS
