Ilam, Dec 2: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that his party has been presenting itself in a flexible manner to promulgate the new constitution within the slated time.
Leader Deuba said this while addressing the Mechi zonal level cadres’ meet at Fikkal of Suryodaya Municipality today.
“We would be flexible on the proposal presented by the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML). The parties should fulfill their responsibility to give outlet to the country by delivering a constitution on time but UCPN (Maoist) has created unnecessary hindrances in the process,” leader Deuba added.
Former Prime Minister Deuba said that the new constitution would be promulgated on slated time as per the mandate of the people. He assured the party cadres of timely constitution on the occasion.
The disputed issues of the new constitution would be finalized through dialogue as most of the issues have been settled through dialogue, he explained. RSS
