Birgunj: CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal said on Monday that he is yet to decide on his candidacy for the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) polls.
The former Prime Minister, speaking at a press conference organised by Press Chautari Parsa Chapter here this morning, hinted that he will wait for the party decision for his candidature.
On a different note, he said the political parties should reconsider the proposed names for the appointments in the constitutional bodies.
Commenting on the resignation tendered by UML politburo member Ramchandra Jha. leader Nepal said. “Attempts should be made to convince Jha. He should be retained by addressing his dissatisfaction,” he said.
Jha had quit the CPN-UML on March 21, citing his irrevocable differences with the party on the matter of state-restructuring.
It is believed that he is preparing to enter the UCPN-Maoist.
