17 Jan, Kathmandu: CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli said that Nepali is always committed to One China Policy, saying Nepal’s foreign policy towards China is unchangeable.

Inaugurating the China Nepal Think Tank Conference organised by China Study Centre and Xinhua, Chinese News Agency, here on Tuesday, Chairman Oli said that Nepal’s policy towards China would not change disregarding the government change and all parties are determined on One China Policy.

Saying constitution implementation was the need of hour, he mentioned that support from all neighbours including China and world community was necessary for the same.

Also the former Prime Minister, Chairman Oli expressed worry why the present government had not shown interest to implement the agreements signed during CPN (UML)-led government regarding the expansion of economic relations and exchange of trade between Nepal and China.

Similarly, Acting Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Kamal Thapa, said that Nepal wants to strengthen its relations with both neighbouring countries and stressed the connectivity with highway, airway and the communication.

Likewise, leaders of the Naya Shakti Party, Hisila Yami, and leader of the Federal Socialist Forum, Shivaji Yadav, among others talked about relations between Nepal and China. RSS
