With this, as many as 2,500 players would vie for 294 gold and silver medals and 447 bronze medals in 31 games.

It is shared that three sports events of swimming, triathlon and body-building were already held. So, only 28 games would be played in the eastern region.

The sport events would take place in six districts of the eastern region including Sunsari, Morang, Jhapa, Dhankuta, Siraha and Saptari. Likewise, some events are set to be held in Lalitpur due to space limitation.

The inaugural session of the 7th National Games will be held at Martyr Stadium of Biratnagar whereas the concluding session is set at Dharan Stadium.
