Among the children working as domestic help in Ratnanagar of Chitwan, some 300 have been sent back to their home.
According to Social Section chief at the Ratnanagar Municipality, Tejendra Lamichhane, out of 984 child labourers in Ratnanagar, some 300 are domestic help.
Lamichhane said a total of 284 domestic child workers have been sent back to home by organising different programmes.
Children above 14 years were sent back home by providing income-generating training and other children below 14 years were handed over to their families.
A large number of children are working as labourers at Bharatpur, Ratnanagar, Narayangadh, Parsa, Lothar and Bhandara areas, it is stated. RSS
