Students in Kathmandu today made a 27-kilometre human chain along the Ring Road demanding ensuring their rights to life and study.
Guardians and stakeholders also participated in the programme. The programme was organised for two hours from 11:00 am.
The programme was jointly organised by different organisations including Private and Boarding Schools Organisation Nepal (PABSON), NPABSON, HISSAN, Joint Students Organisation, Teachers’ Federation, as well as organisations associated with APIN demanding an end to Tarai agitation and the border blockade.
Participants in the event had carried placards, the national flag as well as banners with different slogans on right to life and education written on them.
