Minister for Information and Communications and government Spokesperson Surendra Kumar Karki has said a teaching hospital was needed in Mechi Zone.
“The hospitals meeting standards should be given affiliation through due procedure,” he said while talking to media-persons after the inspection of the B&B Teaching Hospital in Jhapa on Friday.
He also said he would do his best to provide affiliation to the B&B Hospital.
On the occasion, Executive Director of the hospital Durga Prasain apprised the Minister of hospital situation and initiatives taken for the process to take affiliation to run teaching hospital.
