General Secretary of the CPN (UML), Ishwor Pokhrel, has said the Unified CPN (Maoist) is moving ahead with the intention of capturing state power.
Talking to journalists at Biratnagar Airport, Pokhrel said the political parties that are the medium of change and democracy should not be entrapped in UCPN-Maoist conspiracy.
He said even the election would not resolve the problem if the structure of democracy was ruined, adding that the UCPN-Maoist was dragging the judiciary and Nepal Army into controversy for they have been preventing the party from capturing the state power.
General Secretary Pokhrel said it would be better to go for elections under the President’s guardianship than to make Executive Chief from the judiciary. RSS
