2 June, Kathmandu: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajay Shankar Nayak, has said obstruction of parliament by the CPN-UML over the Bharatpur incident was wrong.

At a programme organised by the Reporters’ Club here Thursday, Minister Nayak expressed the view that the UML should not obstruct the parliament but help in running it.

Facing defeat does not count much for Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal who is also the Chairman of the CPN (Maoist-Centre), he said, adding that Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba would file his candidacy to the post of the Prime Minister through majority process even if CPN (UML) continues parliament obstruction.
