9 Dec, Kathmandu: Three youth scientists have met with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today.

Suman Poudel, 21, of Kailali district, Bikalpa Dhungana, 17, of Tanahun district and Nirmal Nepali, 22, of Chitwan district, who have been developing a novel machine met the Prime Minister.

On the occasion, they had demonstrated the device that can generate electricity from gravitational force, the solar bicycle, device giving pre-information about earthquake as well as a device having automatic brake system when driver falls asleep, invented by them.

The youth scientists expressed the belief before the PM that they would resolve the energy crisis faced by the country if the country provided them the opportunity to do so.

After the meeting, Prime Minister Oli said that providing opportunity to every individual to learn the subject as per their interest was the need of hour.

He said, “Theoretical education along with practical education is necessary in present context.”

Pointing out the need of bringing the talent out as every individual has unique talents, PM Oli said, “I have said that I will declare the country load-shedding-free within a year. Your work will support my campaign.”

PM Oli clarified that he would hold discussion with the Ministry of Education, NAST and Environment and Science Ministry for the campaign launched by the youth scientists. RSS
