Speaker Onsari Gharti returned home on Monday evening from Thailand. Speaker Gharti had gone to Thailand to be with her husband, UCPN (Maoist) Secretary Barshaman Pun, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital in the Thai capital of Bangkok.
The Speaker returned this evening as the meeting of the Legislature-Parliament is scheduled to begin tomorrow, her press advisor Babin Sharma said.
Speaker Gharti had left for Bangkok along with UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on January 6. Leader Pun has been undergoing treatment for problems related to his liver since the past one month.
