22 July, Kathmandu: The central executive committee meeting of Nepali Congress began at the party’s central office earlier today.
Party President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is chairing the meeting that will focus on contemporary politics and the remaining two level elections.
At the start of the meeting, senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel expressed his view about the overall status of the party, the failure for the party to bring expected result in the recent local level election and the efforts to be made by the leaders to take the party united ahead.
The meeting will review the upcoming two level elections and also the third phase of local level elections being held in province no. 2 on September 18, according to central member Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat.
