22 June, Arghakhachi: Two persons were killed and 29 others injured in a road accident at Kopchibas of Thada VDC-3 in Arghakhachi district. Condition of four is critical.
The deceased are Punaram Bhattarai, 48, of Panbari-4 in Rupandehi and Jamuna Pokhrel of Saljhandi-8, according to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dipendra GC.
The accident took place last night when a micro bus (Lu 1 Kha 7593) heading towards Butwal from Jukena carrying members of a wedding ceremony fell off the road.
