3 November, kathmandu : After winning ‘21st Century Golden Phoenix Award’ at Malaysia on September 6th, Banker Raveena Desraj Shrestha has won 2nd International Award.
Chief Business Officer of Mega Bank Nepal Ltd., Ms. Shrestha has won “Lady of Excellence Award” being awarded from Singapore.
The award ceremony will be held on 5th of January 2015 at a grand ceremony to be attended by the Emperor(King) of Indonesia as a guest of honor. There were 613 nominated ladies from Asia, amongst the nominees Ms. Shrestha is one of the 20 selected winners. For this award, successful women entrepreneurs and professionals were contending from 27 countries. The organizers, SEASIA stated that the award is being awarded to Ms. Shrestha, in view of her contribution towards the Banking Sector, Social work and society as whole.
Mr. Santosh Sapkota from E – planet Pvt. Ltd. officially forwarded Ms. Raveena Desraj Shrestha’s name. Ms. Shrestha has expressed to have been excited and gratified after winning the award.
Currently Ms. Shrestha is working as Chief Business Officer at Mega Bank Nepal Ltd. Ms. Raveena Desraj Shrestha started her career from Mother Teresa Home for Old and Children. After commencing her banking career from Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd., she worked at NABIL Bank Ltd., Ms. Shrestha had also bagged several awards/ recognition for her work in banking sector and social sector as well.
