Nepalgunj, Jan. 10: Red Cross Society, Banke distributed blankets to the helpless people living in the Bageshwori Temple premises to help them keep warm in this chilling cold.
Chief District Officer Jivan Prasad Oli and the District Red Cross Society chairman Govardhan Singh Samjhana jointly gave away blankets to 21 helpless people on Thursday.
Meanwhile, various social organizations have been arranging firewood for the poor and helpless people to lit fire in different chowks.
The cold has adversely affected daily public life in the district. RSS
