A Buddhist Philosophical Debate has started at Shelkar Gumba in Jorpati of the capital city.

The debate, which will run for two weeks, has been continuing since the last seven years. It will be attended by 400 Lamas from 10 Geluk communities inside the Kathmandu Valley.

During the debate participants will raise questions and curiosities on the Buddhist philosophy to start a logical debate.
