13 September, Kathmandu : Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subash Chandra Nembang has urged political parties and CA members to follow the schedule of constitution drafting that they made one their own.

Launching an anthology ‘Saladjasto Desh’ (collection of poems) by Devi Nepal on the sidelines of ongoing book exhibition at Bhrikutimandap Saturday, CA Chair Nembang expressed his concern over the non-implementation of his directives by some political leaders and CA members.

CA Chair Nembang said although he had instructed political leaders and CA members to avoid foreign junket and district visits until the completion of a draft of the new constitution, some have been violating his instructions.

Writers should exert pressure through their creations to parties for drafting a new constitution within the scheduled date, he added.

Noted litterateur Modnath Prashrit termed Nepal’s creation as a reflection of contemporary situation in the country.

Nepal Academy former Vice Chancellor Dr Basudev Tripathi said poet Nepal’s full dedication to his creation has been realized in his new collection of poems.

Critiquing the book, Dr Ramprasad Gyawali said Nepal’s creation is an inspiration to the entire Nepali literature. The anthology comprises 41 poems written on metrical forms. RSS
