Kathmandu, Dec 26: DIG of Armed Police Force(APF) Ranjan Koirala, who is currently behind the bars for the pre-planned murder of his wife two years ago, has now been expelled from APF.
Proposed by Ministry of Home Affairs, the Cabinet took the decision to this effect at Singha Durbar today.
Briefing the cabinet decision, Minister for Law and Justice, Narahari Acharya said today’s decision was in line with the court’s ruling. Earlier, the Kathmandu District Court had slapped him life imprisonment on April 22,2012.
Meanwhile, in a separate case, the cabinet has also decided to sign an air service agreement with Oman.
The meeting has also endorsed the proposal of the appointment of Chairman and members of the Debt Recovery Tribunal.
