19 November, Kapilbastu : Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, Bam Dev Gautam, said the government would take initiative to settle the border dispute and problem created by the dam constructed in the Indian border area through talks with the Indian side.
Talking to journalists in Kapilbastu on Wednesday during his inspection tour of the places of ancient and archeological in the district, Minister Gautam claimed that the UCPN (Maoist) and some other forces have been trying to make the second Constituent Assembly (CA) a failure like the first CA.
The second CA would promulgate the new constitution on January 22 even by following the due process if forging a political consensus was not possible.
