8 Nov-Kathmandu: Hearing on seven writs filed at Supreme Court against Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the order to remove difficulties in the interim constitution scheduled for Thursday has been deferred again till November 21.

 

Spokesperson at the SC, Shree Kant Poudel, said that a special nine-member bench was needed to conduct hearing on the writ but Justices Tarka Raj Bhatt and Gyanendra Bahadur Karki were abroad current, so the hearing was deferred.

 

Earlier, the hearings on the writ were being conducted with the division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Damodar Prasad Sharma, and Justices Kalyan Shrestha, Girish Chandra Lal, Sushila Karki, Prakash Wasti, Baidyanath Upadhyay, Bharat Bahadur Karki, Tarka Raj Bhatt and Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.
