31 August, Bhaktapur : Chairman of the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) Narayan Man Bijukchhe said that the agenda of forming a high level political committee (HLPC) was the agenda of UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal to only seize power.
Talking to RSS at a programme in Madypur Thimi in the district, Chairman Bijuchhe said that the agenda of formation of the committee was only a way of seizing power and it does not have any meaning.
If the committee is formed, it would create unnecessary pressure on the government and the government cannot freely accomplish its works, Bijukchhe said.
If such committee was needed for the nation, it should be formed by calling an all party meeting as it is not only the single agenda of the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and UCPN (Maoist), Bijukchhe added.
Obstructing the parliament by the UCPN (Maoist) is a Panchayati style to impose own ideology upon others and that is not good at all in course of drafting the new constitution.
Leader Bijukche also said the government should have nominated experts in the post of 26 CA members by consulting with all political parties but that turned into a futile exercise guided by kinship. RSS
