Kathmandu, Nov. 14: The Government has formed a three-member Constituent Assembly court under the chairmanship of Supreme Court Justice Kalyan Shrestha for the purpose of the November 19 CA elections.

The meeting today of the Council of Ministers formed a three-member Constituent Assembly Court, with Justices Girish Chandra Lal and Sushila Karki as other members of the Court, according to the Government Spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communications Madhav Prasad Poudel.

Meanwhile, the cabinet today also endorsed the decision made earlier to increase the immediate compensation amount, for vehicles damaged between November 11 to November 20, from Rs 25,000 to 50,000. Compensation up to 90 per cent will be given based on the damage incurred.

Joint-secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture Development Prabhakar Pathak has been appointed the Chairman of the Dairy Development Corporation Board of Directors.

The government has also formed a high-level task force under the convenorship of Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister Rajuman Singh in order to resolve the problem facing the Sajha Publications. RSS
