27 June, Biratnagar: Three organisations have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to operate a kidney dialysis center in Biratnagar on Friday.

National Kidney center, Kathmandu, Ram Lal Golchha eye hospital and Rotary Club of Biratnagar signed the agreement to establish the ‘National Kidney Center/HH Rotary’ and start the kidney dialysis services within four months.

The Center will have 5 dialysis machine and at least 15 patients will have the services in reasonable fee every day.

The Center is being established under the Global Grant of Rotary International. The Rotary Club will provide Rs 11 million for machinery and other necessary equipment for the Center.

National Kidney Center, Kathmandu, will provie necesary human resources for the dialysis center while Ramlal Golchha eye hospital will provide necessary land to build the center and Rs. 2 million in cash for setting up necessary infrastructures.
