Kathmandu, Nov 23: Venting his ire on NC and UML, UCPN  Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has alleged these parties of hatching conspiracies to dissolve the Constituent Assembly (CA).

Speaking at an interaction organized by the 22-party alliance in the capital on Sunday, Dahal expressed his dissatisfaction over the recent activity of NC and UML and termed it as a ploy to foil CA.

Arguing  that the 9-point proposal floated by the ruling parties on contents of the new statute is against the 12-point agreement and the interim constitution, he further added that there is no CA regulations which allow the parties to conduct this activity.

Chairman Dahal clarified that political parties didn’t reach any agreement during a meeting at the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Saturday evening, adding that NC and UML leaders spread rumors of consensus in a planned manner.

“No agreement was forged yesterday,” he said, “I told that decision can be made only after discussing within the alliance.”
