Nepali Congress leader and former Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh has said that his party’s presence in the government was weaker.

At a festive greetings exchange programme organized by the Nepali Congress Kathmandu District Committee here today, leader Singh said that though NC was the largest party, its role remained weaker which caused the pessimism among the cadres.

He stated that the party leadership should be serious for holding local bodies’ election and restructuring the local units. Leader Singh further said that the party statute should be followed by all leaders and cadres.

Leader Singh expressed dissatisfaction over dillydally in giving full shape to the office bearers and central working committee of the party.

Similarly, NC district committee president Sabuj Baniya urged the party cadres to be prepared for local elections. RSS
