24 May, Kathmandu: Nepal’s national women’s football team has conceded a defeat to the Malaysian women’s team in a friendly match played between the two countries in Malaysia today noon.

In the match held at Likas Stadium in Kota Kinabalu, the Malaysian team defeated Nepal 4-1.

Earlier in the first friendly match played between Nepal and Malaysia on May 22, both had scored a goal each.

The match was organized by the Football Association of Malaysia as a part of the preparation for the 29th Southeast Asian Games slated for August 19-30 in Malaysia itself, according to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).

A 20-member team comprising players as well as coaches, managers and physiotherapist had set out for Malaysia on May 19. RSS
